Just bought EZ drummer plus the jazz extension. I wonder though where the wooten samples are. The ezx jazz seems a bit thin to say the least. The only samples that show in EZ drummer under ezx jazz are midi files from David Haynes, Morgan Agren and Per Mikaelsson. No Wooten as long as my ears can hear. Could anyone explain this? Has the installation faltered or what?

You have typed “samples” but you mean midi content.
It appears Futureman did not provide any midi content for this EZX. Maybe it will be included in the full SDX version.

your´re right about what I meant. It seems that Toontrack have strange notion of adequate marketing though as it says on the cover (qoute) “The JAZZ ezx features samples performed by the legendary drum virtuoso/pioneer roy “futureman” wooten”.
And Wootens work is presented as the real feature of the jazzextension for EZ drummer.

From the product page:
‘The sounds for the Jazz EZX® were played by Roy “Futureman” Wooten at Blackbird Studios, Nashville, USA.’
‘The MIDI files for the Jazz EZX® were played by David Haynes, Atlanta, GA, USA & by Morgan Ågren and Per Mikaelsson, Toontrack Studios, Umea Sweden.’
Not sure how more transparent we can be.
