Loading EZ Drummer in Pro tools 8

  I have been trying to drag a drum beat from EZ Drummer to Pro tools for the past few days without any luck. The beats appear in Pro Tools but they play on the instrument that is selected. I have read elsewhere that I should find an Ez Drummer plugin in the ”Instruments” Section but it doesnt seem to be there. Does anyone know how I can get my drum beats to play properly in Pro Tools 8?
