A couple months ago I already tried to get a sampler on my PC working with my roland td9 kit, but the latency was just way to big. So I managed to save a little money and buy a macbook pro. So I tried the whole thing again.
After a long search in the internet to find good samplers I found out, that the EZ Drummer and especially the Jazz kit just sounds the best. So I thought, perfect, let’s try out the free ezdrummer lite and look, if the latency is low enough to play live (which is the only purpose of getting this setup work). Toontrack Solo: installed. EZ Drummer Lite: installed, but can’t authorize it, because it says something about “serial number on package”. What package? I downloaded the free version from your website withouth any package.
can you please help me get this to work? I’d love to buy the full version of ezdrummer and the jazz kit, but want to try it out first.
thanx for helping,
Fa
AFAIK EZdrummer Lite is an OEM version that is bundled with other hardware or software packages. In these packages there is a serial number. I’m not sure where you would have downloaded EZD Lite from the Toontrack website unless you already have it registered to your account, in which case, the serial number would be in that product page of your account.
