    Hi Trevor,

    are you installing from DVD?

If so, please log in to your Toontrack account and download the Full Product Download (≈700MB) and use this instead.

    Best Regards,
    John

I downloaded the installer as you suggested and the installation went flawlessly. Also, I am amazed at how well it integrates into Cubase.

I had exactly the same issue on my Win 7 64 bit system but after following the advice posted here by John, everything is fine now.

UPDATE: Wait a sec. I found it. Downloading now. I will update again after I try to install it. 🙂

I’m having this problem still and can’t seem to resolve it. I downloaded the latest version of EzDrummer, but it’s just an update, it’s not the full version. Maybe I’m missing something. I don’t see a ~700MB download anywhere…?

Hi everybody. I’m having the same problem with my EZD, but I cannot seem to find my Computer ID. Where do I go to find that?

    Michael,

the computer ID is given to you when you launch EZdrummer for the first time. I suggest you take a look at this video which explains in detail the authorization process:

Hi, I am having the same problem.
The file(s) in question are not on the install disk.
When the dialog popped up I just clicked Ignore and the install process finished.

    I authorized the plugin + a number of EZX’s.
    All seems to work?

I have a question: if I reinstall using the downloadable installers, will I lose the current authorizations
or can I use the current auth codes?

    Best regards,
    edgehill

As long as the Computer ID doesn’t change, and thus triggering the authorization window, then you can reinstall as many times as you’d like.

Hey, i recently purchased Drum kit from hell and downloaded it directly to my computer from the internet. Once i extracted the files i looked for the DKFH in my downloaded file folder, i got there and opened up the EZXdrumkitfromhell installer and when i tried to install it all it tells me is that EZ drummer needs to be installed first. I thought that if i went back and installed the extraction files again (TT110_EZX_Drumkit_From_Hell_PC) it would work but when i open that it tells me that these files already exist and ask me if i wish to over write them. I was extremely looking forward to this solid drum tracking program and hope that i didn’t just waste 90$. Do any of you have an answer or maybe have had a similar problem in the past ? Any help would be well appreciated.

I’m brand new to this whole fourm things so go easy on me with where i am posting this i just went to one that said download failed and assumed that mine would fall right into that category, thanks.

The DFH EZX is an expansion pack that can be used in http://www.toontrack.com/product/ezdrummer-2/ or http://www.toontrack.com/product/superior-drummer-2/ or http://www.beatstation.com/ Toontrack samplers. It can’t be used on it’s own.
