Hello,
I have a delta 1010lt. Actually I have two. I’m just reading about building edrums. I have a yamaha dd-65, it’s pretty cool, but I took apart one of the pedals and now I have a better understanding.
The only thing is, am I able to use my soundcard’s inputs to convert to digital? I was reading this thread:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=855654
Post #3 seems to state it can be done. Shame the plugin is linux. I’m looking at different software.
Right now I just want to make a simple pad, and hook it up to my soundcard and hope to trigger EZDrummer from within Reaper like I do with my dd-65. And with my dd-65!
Thank you for any tips or suggestions. I do not want to buy a module or trigger box though, so please don’t suggest it, as that is not want I want to do right now.
Thanks again!
I think I will buy this:

If it works with Mics I would assume it should work with a piezo.
I’m looking forward to this, can’t wait to try the demo out when I get home.
