Hello. I use Superior Drummer and Toontrack Solo. My question is how do you record the drums you play? I have beeen trying to figure it out, but I can’t seem to find out how.
Thanks.
Currently there is no recording capability in Toontrack solo. Solo is a host for Toontrack drum samplers and targeted to the edrummer that wants to play their edrums with our samplers without firing up their DAW.
If you’d like to record your drum performances, you’ll need a host that can record MIDI…Cubase, Sonar, Pro Tools, Reaper, etc.
See the S2 supported host list http://www.toontrack.com/product/superior-drummer-2/#4.

Ah…Well I do have Pro Tools. But alas that doesn’t work, but that’s a story for another place. Well thanks! I guess I need to start Pro Tools now.
The great thing within a DAW and a simple midi out from you e-kit connected ,you do just simply hit record and your playing(midi) is recorded direct into that Audio Instrument track with SD2 or EZY drummer. It has saved me hours of progamming not to mention its Instinctive, instant and fun.
