I am planning to make a drum controller for the game dtxmania (a game similar to rockband).
I want to build it from scratch.
I don’t need it to be velocity sensitive.
Just want a keypress when a drum is hit.
could I use this circuit for the job?
Yes, its from keith’s circuit.
I just removed the other piezo so it will only be piezo to switch.
My plan is to make 6 of this circuit then wire them to a joystick to convert drum hits to keypresses.
Will that work?
