Need help hooking up Alesis Trigger IO with EZdrummer in Reaper

If anyone could help me with instructions on how to hook up my Alesis Trigger IO with the EZdrummer in Reaper.
I have my Ddrum Triggers connected with my Alesis Trigger IO to my PC. Everything seems to be hooked up right but when I hit the drum pads nothing.

Have you selected a MIDI track in Reaper…?

What MIDI channel is your Alesis set to…? It must be the same as the MIDI track channel in Reaper.

I assume the Alesis is connected to the PC via MIDI…?

Any help…?
