Hi
I’m new to the forum, but have been using Superior since it came out.
I’m currently using Superior 2.0.
I’m wondering if it’s possible to use 2 Roland modules to trigger Superior?
I have a TD-6, while my buddy has a TD-3. Is it possible to daisychain these modules to be able to use it as a huge drumset? It would be great to be able to use 5 Toms and 4 cymbals and a few extra triggers.
Is this possible?
you should be able to yes. You will need to remap one of the module pretty much entirely however.
One simpler solution may be to link them to the computer using a 2-in MIDI interface and use two instances of Superior, there is no real downside to do it this way as far as you unload from each instance what you don’t want/need loaded.
Anyway since Toontrack solo (1.2.0 or above) supports multiple ports and interfaces, as well as channel filtering, there is certainly more than one way to go about it, whichever works best for you will depend of how proficient you are with your module and MIDI in general.
