TTBOTToontrack solo 1.2 is now available from http://www.toontrack.com/download_toontrack_solo.asp
It features long time requested features and some important bug fixes:
New Features
– graphical interface has been rebuilt, main drummer is treated as any other
– re-organization of the application menus for a cleaner, more OS compliant experience
– convenience toolbar for common application components and EZplayer
– new Master mute button to supplement existing shortcut
– new metronome feature, with time signature setting and volume control
– support for multiple MIDI interfaces and ports (to be used at the same time)
– support for MME audio drivers on PC
– support for Rockband® and Guitar Hero® drum controllers
Bugfixes
– failure to load the WDM under some circumstances should no longer occur
– better handling of driver specific channel names
– changed warning message from “Failed to load drummer” to “Failed to load sampler”
– loading a project did not affect the mixer volume, solo and mute of main drummer
– EZplayer should no longer be removed from the audio/midi chain when re-loading a project
-‘New’ closes the EZplayer window and brings up the ‘add new drummer’ dialog
– solo no longer sets window size to 0,0 when no previous size is available, eg. first startup
– Drummer windows that are de-iconized on Mac are not set to full screen
– screen position is remembered
– improved re-drawing of the LEDs in the mixer
– changed the size of the master leds to match the channels
– attempt at improving the handling of keystrokes
– removed strange letters in the about dialog box on PC
