  This is very inspiring to see the transformation of the kit. It’s very well documented.

  I am going to start on my first trigger tomorrow!

  I’m keeping track of the cost. So far $190 for the 4pc Groove Precussion kit.
  I would like to get an additional 13″ tom (to cut in half) and use them for a snare and floor tom. Then I will use the floor tom as a 16″ kick.

  Don’t know if I can be bothered to do that, though.

  It’s also great to hear such a detailed review of the Alesis IO. This is another on my radar. I also considered megadrum, but I’m very new to this… it’s very intimidating!
