Tell us a little more about yourself. How and why you started playing?
Well, I started playing my drum machine because I didn't have a drumset. Both of my brothers are musicians, one plays drums and the other singers, plays sax and keys.
Who and what inspired you?
Too many people to name; Vinnie Colaiuta, Billy Cobham, Elvin Jones, Herbie Hancock etc...
Could you tell us about who you´ve played with through the years?
Prince, Chaka Khan, Mary J. Blige and Lee Ritenour.
What songwriters and musicians inspire you today
and where do you see your musicianship in five or ten years from now?
Vinnie Colaiuta, Dennis Chambers and Jeff "Tain" Watts. I want to get more into producing.
Toontrack products you have collaborated on so far?
None so far.
What is your relation to electronic drums?
Electronic drums are my specialty, but I always try to let people know that I play real drums as well.
What products would you like to see from Toontrack in the future?
Different drumset sounds for other styles of music.
Any new exciting projects coming up in the next year that you can tell us about?
I plan on starting my own project this year.

Yess.. Practice with a metronome, learn to play the piano and I just wanna say that I'm very happy to be working with you guys because you've got the competition beat by far and every one at Toontrack is very polite and easy-going. As we say here in the Atl. "The sounds are off the chain."
